Paint, Sip & Sanctuary Tour Event |
We are excited to host our first Paint, Sip and Sanctuary tour! Local artist Elena Luellen will guide a fun, step-by-step painting session of a few favorite residents. All painting supplies will be provided. A complimentary glass of beverage and a sanctuary tour are included. Join us for a fun afternoon with friends, meet our residents, and bring home a work of art! Every ticket sold helps provide for over 85 rescued residents who call Saving Animals & Healing Hearts home. Thank you for supporting our mission; your support is invaluable to our future. Adoption Day! |
| A Busy Weekend & A Beautiful Beginning!
This past weekend was a whirlwind—but for all the right reasons! Our adorable little Jekyll found his forever home!
On Saturday, we had the joy of bringing him to his new family, where he’ll be joining a special pig named BeBop. She was recently adopted from the Humane Society, and though much of her past is unknown, we do know she’s a survivor. With old scars and a shredded ear, we’re certain she endured a dog attack. But her future is now filled with love and healing.
BeBop’s parents wanted a friend for her, and the moment they met Jekyll, it was love at first sight. He’s the friendliest, most social little guy and has been incredibly patient as BeBop learns to trust and accept him.
Thankfully, they live close to the sanctuary, so we’re able to support their journey as they settle in. As of today, these two are starting to spend time near each other along the fence line—small steps that make our hearts so happy.
We’re beyond excited for the future they’ll share. This is what rescue is all about—healing, hope, and second chances. |

If you have 2.5 hours a week we would love your help. Please fill out a volunteer application today to schedule orientation. Our residents can’t wait to meet you! POSTPONED!!!SAHH Open House |
| We regret to announce that we will be postponing the Open House / Rocky coming out party. We had this all planned around Rocky’s successful healing and sadly we have had some set backs. Rocky is making progress now but it will be a good 6 weeks before he can make his debut and we would LOVE to share that with all of you! Thank you for understanding! |

Riptides Fundraiser! |
| Join us for a fundraising event at RipTides in Pacific Beach on March 15th at 7pm! There will be live music, open bar from 8-9pm featuring Tigers Blood (vegan) Hard Sltzr, and a super fun raffle all supporting SAHH residents! Teri will be there at 7pm! We can’t wait to see you all there! |
