| Saving Animals & Healing Hearts has a number of permanent residents. For a variety of reasons they are unable to be adopted and remain here safe and happy. The following are just some of our current residents. |
Kiwi |

Kiwi, has lived with us since May of 2019 when his owners were no longer able to keep him they reached out to us. One of our goals here at SAHH is to educate pig owners as much as possible and because of the overwhelming numbers of abandoned pigs - we would, if we could do just about anything to keep pigs and their families together. That being said, we offered to board Kiwi here until his owner made arrangements that included keeping him in their family. Then came COVID and the devastating hardship it’s caused on all of us. Kiwi’s owners were no longer able to pay his board, or offer support for medical bills. Kiwi already is a part of our farmly - so we made it official. Kiwi, was been legally relinquished to SAHH. |

Libby |

Libby was rescued from death row at a Riverside shelter just before being euthanized. She had been severely abused and was a fear biter. She has been with us now for three years and has gotten past a lot of her fears, although occasionally you can still see it in her eyes. She will remain here in sanctuary, safe, for the rest of her life. She will never fear being abused again. |

Nelson |

Once headed for slaughter, Nelson now lives his best life here at Saving Animal & Healing Hearts. Please remember that Yorkshire pigs, exactly like him are not so lucky as they are the ones you see on the slaughter truck, facing a horrific fait. Nelson is incredibly smart, curious, happy and silly! He wants to greet every single person and show you just how friendly and affectionate he is! Plus he loves showing off that he’s learned how to sit for treats! Our rescue would definitely not be the same without this happy boy running around and making all of us smile every single day! |

Pedro |

Pedro had a hard life before he came to live with us. He was rescued in poor health and was malnourished. He is much better now and enjoys his time at SAHH visiting the humans and hanging out with his friends Blondie and Harley. He is a gentle, sweet soul and we are glad he is part of our family! |
